Dear Friends and Ministry Partners,
In the past twenty years of evangelism and missions, World Reach Partnerships has taken the Gospel to forty-six countries around the world. The many years of travel and stress have taken a toll on my body and my soul. As a result, beginning in January 2016, our Board of Directors is giving me a six-month sabbatical to rest my body and refresh my soul.
I will use the next several months to focus on the things that are the most important in my life; my Lord and my beloved wife and family. During this time, our ministry will continue to move forward. Jacob and Keesha and their family continue their ministry in Haiti, planting churches and training Pastors. Also, Jonathan and Kelly and their family are taking the Gospel message to unreached villages in Uganda and leading volunteer teams in missions. Jared will be available to take preaching assignments that I would normally take as the opportunities arise. Ministry work will continue, so we will need your support and prayers for the work that the Lord has given us to do. It is your prayers and generous support that make it possible for us to reach so many lives with God’s love and forgiveness.
During this sabbatical, I will be working on getting my body healthy again. I will also be spending much needed time with my wife, Janet, to invest in our thirty-nine years of marriage. Janet has worked harder than anyone else on our team to lead our ministry and mission.
I will continue to stay in touch with you through our newsletter while I’m away from my routine schedule. I am so very grateful for each one of you. Your prayers and partnership with us mean so very much. I look forward to sharing with you the things I am learning as I seek the Lord. I thank God for each of you.
